Telephone Sales Representative (Part-time)

Automotive Event Management Company – Knoxville, TN 

Description: 
A Knoxville based Auto Show and Event Management Company is seeking a highly motivated individual to be a part of our sales team. The Telephone Sales Representative (Part-time) will be responsible for selling event services via telephone in an ever-changing environment. We are seeking a high energy, fast paced talented individual who is willing to take our sales to the next level.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Cold-call prospects that are generated through lead sources.
  • Identify decision makers with targeted leads and initiate the sales process
  • Collaborate with Customer Relationship Manager and extended team members to develop and execute strategic pursuit plans for each prospect
  • Create and deliver qualified opportunities.
  • Ensure follow-up by documenting and managing calls-to-action, deadlines, and on-going client interaction throughout the pursuit.
  • Assist with the coordination of client presentation materials including Power-point presentations and marketing materials.
  • Support the sales team through the proposal development.
  • Responsible for  pipeline management via Salesforce.com
  • Ability to overcome objections, negotiating and closing deals which generate new revenue
  • Actively participate in all required training and development needs

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years previous experience in sales, telemarketing and business to business appointment setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Clear and pleasant telephone manner
  • Knowledge of  MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to take detailed and accurate notes and messages
  • Ability to document detailed and accurate prospect and client information in CRM Program

 Compensation & Benefits:

  30 Hours per Week
                  $10 per hour + Commission Opportunity
